My wideband's instructions state to mount it at least 18 inches downstream from the turbo. Mine is mounted approximately 26 inches downstream. So that's not my question. ;) I'm wondering if the WB wiring will hold up if run up the firewall on the turbo side or if it would survive better up...

57 Trim. It's known for it's reliability and quick spool. I doubt you'd be disappointed with it.

Sorry to hijack this thread with this question; but, it is related. ;) I'm running my WB wires now and am wondering which of my two routes are best. Route 1: Straight up the firewall on the turbo side and through the main harness grommet. My concern here is heat from the downpipe damaging...

Ok. Got my downpipe and UEGO instructions back today. Nice weld by the way! :) The instructions refer to AEM EMS for data-logging. I thought it was a little more detailed than that. It tells you what wires to hook up to where on your EMS to collect and import the AFR data into your EMS...

Currently the turbo is off and the down-pipe got picked up today to go to the shop for some Bung Welding. Wideband here I come...! :)

I am in the process of hooking mine up now. The cable you seek does NOT come with the gauge. You have to buy it seperately or build your own. Like Hitman said, the instructions indicate what pins to use when making your own cable. If you're half-way computer savy, you should be able to...

Hopefully, you've got wider tires and upgrades to your breaking system. You're gonna need both!!!!

^^Yep yep... Napa and such, sell an 'Overflow Kit' that works great too. Unless of course you choose to impliment the tape and 2 litre bottle red neck method! :biglaugh: ;)

Guys run sleeves in V8's a lot. My 'guess' is that a sleeve would be better than welding the gouge and re-machining. Pics...?

Considering all the work you'd have to do to get it to mount, I'd walk. There are a good number of turbo's that'll mount right up and likely be more reliable. You'll probably spend just as much getting it to mount if not more, than just buying one that'll mount right up! Just my .o2 :)

I'm with dumbo. It sounds like you're describing air in your cooling system.

Your build sounds like you'd be up there a bit. I put down 294 @ 13psi. You should definitely be beyond that!! ;)
