kill me now, but can someone explain why you'd need a gas cylinder on an electric welder? i thought that you could either use an oxy/acetylyne setup to cut (weld on the side) or you could go electric and plug it in. wouldn't electric eliminate the need for gas, or am i missing something big?

purging gets rid of the liquid n2 in the lines, from what i understand. it would make sense if it purges before it hits a reg, but im not quite sure why it'd have to purge downstream from a reg on a wet-shot setup.

i wouldnt think of dropping a motor in without refreshing it first, jdm or us. either way its a good idea to give it a good exam while its on a stand.

if the supra didnt exist, id be driving a mazda 626 lx. 1986 to be exact, with 234xxx miles. i wrecked it and bought the supra. sure has tought me a lot. if the supra wasn't around, id probably have a 300zx parked in the garage.

my best bet might be to drill and tap some holes for small (but lengthy) allen head screws. i forget what their name is, but they'd be the button head/cap screws.
