Man Dunckel, I just read this!!! How are they all doing? Is McKay still in Seattle? Is he well enough for visitors? Probably not; but, if you could let me know when he is, that'd be great!

Why are my Manifold Air Temps OUT OF THIS WORLD!?

I'm running the Maft Pro in Speed Density Mode. All connections have been checked so many times that I know them by heart! My IC setup is pretty standard. 2.5" Aluminum Pipe with a Driftmotion Spearco Replica. I am running electric fans and have them set to trigger just above the...

Do i have bhg or bad turbo

If the gasket looks brand new. And I mean BRAND NEW! Like out of the package BRAND NEW! Is my point clear yet? ;) Then it's probably ok. You'd have to ask yourself, 'If I"m building an engine to make good power, will this gasket wreck all my efforts, time, and money?' Really, that's a...

Turbo Soft Lines indeed make your life easier. Yes, they are worth the investment. Don't know where you're getting them from; but, Driftmotion.com is a great place to get them!

That's how my JDM engine came too. No EGR.

One other thing I forgot to mention earlier regarding your EGR delete. If you still have your EGR stuff. Re-install it. It's removal yields minimal power gains and increases your chances of detonation. EGR is your friend. There are a few options for the injectors. 1. Have them...

Wow! That's crazy! Well, that makes two of us that have had major issues with our cars when purchased! Knuckleheads! ;) .065" is 1.651mm. That seems like an odd sized MHG; but, eh...no biggie. Ok. A couple of things... Hopefully, you're still going to install an OEM HG. If not...

I suspected the TPS because under WOT or substantial throttle there was no shutter/miss/hesitation; but, at constant throttle it would do it. TPS's can develop a 'Flat Spot' in them which causes similar symptoms as described above. This 'Flat Spot' develops where you have your gas pedal most...

I just removed both connectors and measured them with GND as my reference. Both measured exactly the same. I slightly bent and flexed on them and had no intermittent issues. Not at that point anyway... What I found with the front KS was it was completely covered in oil from a nice...

O'Rings!? Good call! I'll replace them too. I didn't know the KS's had O'Rings on them. Can you tell I haven't had to do any KS work yet? ;)

I thought of something regarding the re-wire writeup. Why would I need to order new connectors? If that part of the harness is bad and the old ones would just get unplugged and left hanging there, why couldn't I just cut off and use the original connectors? I suppose the original ones...

Thanks for the tip on regarding the rear ks shaeff. A big thanks to everyone else too. My hats off to y'all! :) One last question: I've seen a couple different KS part numbers floating around. One from Toyota and one from Champion. Is one better than the other?

When/where do you smell it? Startup...tail pipe? My buddy's DSM had a fuel smell at startup. That case ended up being fuel in the vac lines.

You'd be surprised how long a turbo will last with a little shaft play. I'd definitely hold off on doing anything with that. Thanks for the compliments on my car! She's come a long ways and has a long ways to go! Got to get the new clutch in...rebuild the tranny...big brake upgrade...

Your findings do point to the head. Valve Seats and/or Valve Stem Seals. Which? Either or both... The fact that you have an extra motor/head puts you ahead of the game. I would do as you've described. Get your second head checked out and then install it along with an OEM HG.
