Timing is less than 5 minutes, and the cooling system will take care of the bubbles itself if it's all working properly.

I've heard of people having issues with temp spikes and potential overheats by just blocking it. I imagine it's because the pressure would hold the t-stat closed...
Dedicated drag car only that will be torn down and rebuilt all the time (and replacing the rods every so often).
Aluminum work hardens, so it's a failure waiting to happen.
Now titanium rods are another story...
Stock gasket and no sealant or anything, sealed fine.
Keep in mind that there are studs and bolts, they have different torque specs for both, so follow the TSRM.
