Start low, (like ~8psi) and keep turning up the boost until any of the following happen:
- Your EGT climbs too high
- You start to detect knock
- Your AFR starts to get lean
The tuner should know this process exceptionally well.

Are both your connectors on the thermostat tree hooked up? There are 2 there that should be 2 wires, the Cold Start Injector time switch and the ECU temp sensor.
