think i may of figured it out

Either one will work... but have you checked the price of paint thinner recently? It's still more expensive than fuel here!

    CPS? back firing?

Correct. You need to use a wrench on the front of the main pulley bolt to put the engine at Top Dead Center, then pull out the CPS, align the dot with the notch, and put it back in. Check out this link: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=IG&P=21

    tranny seperation

Err... I just yank the driver's side inspection plate, grab the fork, and pull. It pops right out.

Try pouring it into a bucket. If there is enough in there to impede your airflow, it's not going to be a small amount.

    torque hex vc bolts?

Yup, they like the warmth. I had an entire skeletal family in there when I bought my car - they'd died somehow, and the little skeletons were soaked in (and probably preserved by) oil leaking from the gaskets. It was a PITA to clean. It's the biggest reason why I started out changing plugs...

    Testing VF,confusing results...

Or just borrow one from another Supra driver for 20 minutes.

think i may of figured it out

Not likely, turbo oil leaks usually go the other way, through the IC pipes. However, the PCV system vents into the intake, and in extreme cases can cause things like enough oil in the intercooler to plug the airflow. Pull off the PCV line where it connects to the accordion hose. Check to see...

    this is funny

Retaliation! Guys, when you're sitting in front of your big screen TV watching the game, and the woman storms in from the kitchen complaining about something, what do you know instantly, before she even starts? . . . Her chain is too long.

    a little something cool

Ya, tell that to the support staff here! Actually, I understand that their crash stats really are very low. Unfortunately, their users are even less capable than your average windows user group, so the support staff here spends an awful lot of time babysitting print jobs... Trust me when I say...

    a little something cool

No, it doesn't. I buy nearly every RTS / FPS as it becomes available, as well as a decent number of the RPGs and some of the driving games. There was a bug that caused Supreme Commander to run slow on some maps, it's been fixed since SC Patch 1. That's the *only* problem I've seen. I'm not a...

    a little something cool

I've heard that you can ride your pink unicorn to the moon for a generous helping of green cheese, too. Don't believe all the BS posted on the net by the M$ haters. I've been running Vista for a long time, with Firefox, M$ Office, a crapload of internet apps, DVD burning / ripping / emulating...

Got rid of code 51 finally...but...

Bendy screwdrivers FTW. You still have to do the bottom screw by feel though, there's no way you can get your fat fingers AND a bendy screwdriver down there while still being able to eyeball it.

    Strange Exhaust Leak-Back Of Engine??

Awesome. However, it was still stock internals, so last summer I collected some forged pistons, new bearings, HKS metal head gasket, bigger injectors, bigger turbo, MAFT Pro, wideband, etc, etc. The build I'm on now runs like a raped ape, and I'm only boosting to 13psi.

    a little something cool

Sure, if you're running yesteryear's lackluster hardware. I've been running Vista since the release, I'm an avid gamer, and I haven't run into any problems. If it wasn't for my need to play games, I'd have switched to Linux for everything I do years ago. Vista likes new hardware. So what...

    Enduromotorsports.com?

Hate to point it out, but these are the questions you should have been asking before you placed your order. I tend to 'test out' new sales places by putting in a small order first - low $$$ and non-critical parts. Then I'm not so grumbly if they fuck the dog on it.

It would also help to know what you mean by "nothing was happening" - how did you check this?

    Testing VF,confusing results...

OOps... appears I stuck my foot in my mouth there, I read your mod list and saw a maft PRO instead of the actual unit you have. Just to be sure, that's the older unit without direct wideband input, right?

First Car 'Better Than First Kiss'

Sure. I name my computers after girls too. My wife calls the Supra my mistress. This way, when it's 2:40am and I realize I'm still working on my toys instead of in bed with my wife, I'll put down the tools, wash up, and go to bed. The article only says 'kiss' or 'embrace' though. Cars are...
