It is just a field ground for the metal plate that holds the coils and has nothing to do with the coils. I have run with out it for 4 years on one car and 5 years on another.
That just shows how to adjust the free play in the pedal. The cluch itself is not adjustable. It is fully engaged whenever your foot is off the pedal. If it is slipping then 1) you are over powering your pressure plate clamp force, 2) cluch is worn. In either case you need a new one.
Yes there is, just do a search for 7mgte stroker kit in your search bar of your computer and I know it will pull up one. I am also working on developing a stroker kit for the 7mgte. Just need more time and money.
IIRC, I am pulling 3-5% from 4800 to 5000, 7% from 5000 to 5400 and 11% from 5400 to 6000. I still need to pull about 5 to 6% more from the big end, but there is not much use since I rarely ever rev the motor past 5500.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments,
Rajunz- Like 97TSiawd said, thay is the fuel pressure I run
Shaeff- Yes I am on the stock intercooler, but on the dyno I was running with 114 leaded Cam 2
About the fuel pressure - I had a funny spike in the a/f curve at 3500-4000 rpm that I was...
Yes, everything seams to be working just fine. Only took 10 min to hook it up. Don't know why I waited a week to do it.
Robbo185 - I run 50 psi because I am pulling some fuell out with the SAFC-II
I don't have a scanner, but I will try to post the dyno sheet. Hope to run a 12.7 to 12.9...
I purchased CPT Furious's VPC and SAFC-II and installed them on my car. I had been posting in the "fastest stock ct" Thread for my 13.36 at 105 run. Anyway, after I got everything hooked up and running, I took the car to the local Dynojet and made 8 pulls while bumping up the boost and trying to...
Uncle Rich here knows the answer to that question, but will never tell.
Thank you for your replies - Keep them coming.
All you guys running the Titan gaskets, what kind of power are you throwing at it?
Over the years I have sold a bunch of these MHG and I have never heard of any bad things or poor product performance. I woud like to hear from anyone who runs a Titan MHG to chime in and give your thoughts and your set up so that I may use your exp. with the product to enlighten future users...
Auto's have a flexplate, not a flywheel, and I can't think of anyone selling aftermarket flexplates for our cars. The stock one is pretty light however.
