In Canada? Really? I'll take 2. Find out where the head gasket was replaced - Toyota is likely to screw it up, as the torque values in the manual are insufficient. So are many other repair shops, unless they are familiar with the torque problem, and that is pretty much limited to Mk3...

Oh, I forgot - better plan on spending some money on a clutch, because the chances of the stock unit holding for long at that level are pretty slim. :) If the pressure plate / flywheel is still in decent shape, just pick up a puck disc and put it in, that should hold long enough for the race!
