    what is this??

If you bypass the coolant valve, you will have heat. If you bypass the vacuum signal, you will have no heat. Is the Corolla one the metal one, or another plastic one?

    Anyone with A-1 camber arms?

I may have to buy some of these shortly too. Went into the alignment shop yesterday. $90 later and now I know that most of my alignment spots are frozen solid. :( I guess mine hasn't been touched since it was assembled in the factory 20 years ago. Needless to say, my alignment is still out.

    what is this??

Close! It actually shuts off the flow of hot coolant to the heater core IF you have your climate control set to Max AC.

Valve Assembly, Heater Water. #87240 http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291410/catalog.aspx?F=8716&P=1 This part breaks on virtually every Supra, get a new one from the dealer. Or bypass it entirely, it's not a big deal unless you live where it gets hot and you need your AC set on Max...

There were some that cracked, with pictures posted, but this was a long time ago, (pre-forum hack, which is why you won't find pics) and the manufacturing quality from China tends to get better after the initial run. So it's *probably* not a problem anymore.

88 Turbo Old Man Project Car

I've never broken a rod, so stock there is fine. However, I've blown up quite a few stock pistons, so the cost difference there is worth it IMO. I know you *can* build a stock block to take 500+ whp, Adam has done it... but seriously, the cost difference is what, about $300? That's less than...

88 Turbo Old Man Project Car

It's the cylinder walls that I'm concerned about, and after you bore it out, the original pistons won't fit anymore, they will be too small. I'm a big fan of JE pistons and rings. Rods aren't as big of a concern - unless you are going for big power, over 500 whp, they should hold fine. Duane...
