ED & CC: Carbon Fiber Parts

Actually, there are a LOT more early models out there. Over three times as many, actually. Pre '89 production: 82786. 89+ Production: 25779 Question is, which demographic is more likely to drop cash on something like this? Personally, I'd like to see a cold air box in CF. Something that...

    Light Weight Vs. Stock flywheels

That's the same unit I have. Originally I ran it with a Spec stage 3, then when that eventually wore out, I put in a full face feramic disc from HPF.

    Light Weight Vs. Stock flywheels

Dude, you crack ANY flywheel, including stock.

Make gmail your default email program.

You suck at the internet. FIRST result of googling "Make GMail default". http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=10966

    So my work installed Websense...LOL

I guess the clowns in charge never noticed that productivity goes UP when you let your people surf. Sure, some people take it to extremes, but if you talk *gasp* to your people, it's not hard to deal with positively.

If you're going to end up in Vancouver, let me know ahead of time, maybe we can sneak in a couple hours for lunch. :)

How far can you drive on a BHG?

Depends on the condition of the BHG. If it's bad enough, it will overpressurize the coolant hoses and pop them like a waterballoon. Then you're not going anywhere.

    few questions about the 7m

    Crank walk repair

I only recall this being done once, and as I recall it didn't work. But your mileage may vary, this was years ago and I don't remember much in the way of details.

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

Better invite the Mk2 boys, I'm sure a few of them are willing to shoehorn a full size BBQ in the back of their car. After all, they drove a 1UZ from Van to Alberta in the back of a couple of their cars... crazy bastards! ;)

    2008 Vacation

Depends on where you live. The Alaska cruises are the most popular in the world, because they are a novelty for most folks. I live in BC, Canada, so I've seen glaciers before, I see snow every year, I've seen frozen lakes / rivers / bays, I've seen forest that stretches further than the eye...

    2008 Vacation

Just finished a 2 week Alaskan cruise. I'm taking some more time off later in the year to go to SILV. Cost of a vacation hasn't really changed, American economy notwithstanding.

Hats off to Poodles or grinding noise when clutch pedal is pressed

Spec stage III PP is a stock unit with blue paint. Usually, this is caused by starting the engine with the clutch depressed while using a harder than stock PP. I don't think this is the case for you, however.

    MKIII Digital Dash

I have a couple of those, and I plan to put one in the Supra after some serious conversion work to get it to fit a LHD car. Targa glare isn't a problem in my case, I have a hardtop. :)

    few questions about the 7m

I'd pull the search card too, but I hate having threads lying around with active keywords in them that don't point you towards the right answer. And it's easier for me to type this out than explain how to search for it, so... What was already mentioned, plus: - higher compression pistons - ECU...

That's it, I'm through with Blockbuster.

That's happened to me, too. Except I don't have a blockbuster account. And I didn't rent any movies. I've gone to the branch and demanded they remove my phone number from their automated dialing POS, but they never do. Bastards.

    Rear Mounted Turbo System

I've seen this done on a Matrix.. or maybe it was an Echo. No room up front for all the bits, so they had to use this kind of a system. When I spoke with the owner about it's performance, he said that while it was obviously not an ideal configuration, it was still a crapload better than stock...
