why did you purchase a 4.3 gearing for the car???
Lintlars
they sell torsons also that are made by different companies. they are supposed to be for the Toyota Pickup trucks but work in our rear diff housing.
mk3ukr
last time i checked on this. There is a company out in Germany that does this but expect to pay ALOT of money for the kit as it is part of thier four wheel kit :)
wrong answer
since rotors rely on the mass of the iron to absorb and disipate heat. Cross drilling rotors lowers weight but at the same time lowers mass. less mass means less heat absorbtion and meaning the rotors will warp and crack as heat retention is greater.
Please don't bring in race...
yes but you are forgetting one very important thing. That water under pressure is being ran by... a 6 HP motor!! Then that said pressure HAS to go somewhere and in this case it will go back into the engine increasing the internal pressure of coolant system...
once again nothing is free.
problem
nothing is free
imagine a bike 10 speed. What happens as you go into lower gears to try and go faster? The pedal effort is MUCH more. This idea will also do that so yes you can get a 1:3 ratio gear BUT how much more energy is going to be spent trying to spin the turbo faster now?
you always need a dyno as trying to tune while doing 90 mph on the street.highway is just pure stupidity ;)
the only reason the MAP ecu is not a standalone is because it requires the ECU for initial values. Otherwise this is as close to a standalone as you will get. So much so that you can...
oh they are not that expensive. Granted your two A1000 are about 30% of one weldon 2345. :)
Just becareful if you are going to be running in the street with those two fuel pumps. They are known to vapor lock in daily driving conditions.
yes.. any more HP and it has to be redesigned and made BIGGER.
sidenote: by 600 they mean at a CONSTANT level like NASCAR or F1. For the a street car. The damper can exceed that HP level by alot. But to maintain SFI it has to be inspected yearly.
ain't happening. Think about it. a 2jz mottor trying to push a GT42 turbo doesn't start going until it hits 4000 rpm..
the 2jz/7m motor is 3L displacement meaning every two revolutions it pumps out 3 LITERS of air.
so we divide 4000 rpm /2 and get 2000 rpm and multiply this by 3L. that...
Toluene, Xylin, Benzene.
All are Aromatics and as such can chew up plasitc with ease (pour some laquer thinner on plastic and watch it eat it away, Laquer thinner contains Toluene). As why the 30% rules. Just like alcohol. The lambda for Xylene is much different than the lambda for gasoline.
not hush hush.... just that no one has done it.. i know of two people that have. On is adjuster and the other person.. can't remember thier ID. :)
it cuts rotating mass down more. Somewhere by about 5 lbs though. Not alot but those little bits here and there...and you start geting ALOT :)
