Not to mention youre bound to find you need to do them all, fixing 1 rod will most likely be a temp band-aid fix. And you might find other things like crank being fuxed.
Its way easier to pull the motor, dont torture yourself. I can get a long block out in 1- 1.5 hrs. But then I have done it many times. Still......alot easier!

Couple things I think made the diff for me.....Anal cleaning with dawn and hot water ( 2-3 times after each sanding), spending alot of time wet sanding the primer before the paint...

Mike...I set the timing base again and put the correct back to 0. Now I got 30 advance @19psi &5300 rpm, it showed 80 - 108 adv at some points ....lol, I think that the monitor is real touchy, maybe it has to be driven awhile to settle out, I was obviously not running 100 advance as I havent...
Your the only one I,ve seen with + anything on the mainscale, but most of us have 550+ inj, try to tune the rest of it overall starting with the mainscale, then the tables and worry about idle later, trying to tune idle with mainscale is gonna get you all ass backwards.
