7M-GE valve covers are grooves and not raised sections. You'd have to make the entire valve cover thinner to do it. Would take much more work. Jeff

Does your pump have wiring going to it as well?

No pre-89's had PPS. Not in Japan, not in the USA, not in Canada, not in Australia or Europe or Africa. I've checked all my worldwide catalogs and the PS pump for all pre-89's is the same and none had PPS. All 89+ Turbos here got PPS and it was optional on N/A's. Jeff

As far as I know, Toyota does not put the vehicle's serial number on the engine, and the engine has it's own, which does not match the vehicle in any way. Jeff

I'll post, geez, give me some time. I've never driven the MK3 on the ring before, lol. I did do the 24hr endurance race with my roommate for 24 hours without pausing on January 1st/2nd though. After about 16 hours or so it's not nearly as much fun. :( Jeff
