Sure, you're in Airdrie right? Pop by sometime. :)

    Gran Turismo 4 Challenge

Which Driving Force do you have? The Pro or non-Pro? I think GT4 is setup to suit the Pro/G25 with the 900 degree rotation more than other wheels. Not sure if the sensitivity is adjustable in-game. :( Well that kind of sucks for you. (But not for me. LOL). Jeff (EDIT: Get a G25)

    Gran Turismo 4 Challenge

I meant traction control/vehicle stability control. As for the wheel/pedals/paddles.... n00b. It's rediculous how much better I am at GT4 with the wheel than without. At first I wasn't as good, but give it just a little bit of time and it's so much better! Jeff

    Gran Turismo 4 Challenge

Okay I switched to Super Soft tires and pulled off a 6'31.879. 6'20s are definitely in the making. I'm still making the same mistakes I was before but now I'm taking them faster and it's causing issues. Something I meant to ask, and I assume everyone is, but is everyone using manual...

One of the buttons on the controller uses it. On my G25 it's the button on the right, but I'm not sure what it is on the normal controller.

    Gran Turismo 4 Challenge

Well see the thing about it is, we practiced only Nurburgring for a few months (and nothing else) to be good enough to do the 24 hour endurance race without sucking the big one, so I'm pretty good at it ;). I'll see what I can do on El Capitan and maybe grab a screenshot of my 'Ring times. :) Jeff

My official submission for now: 6:40.228 1990 JZA70 Twin Turbo, Medium Race Tires, No Nitrous, With Spoiler I'm still making stupid small mistakes in a few places. I really need to clean those up. Should have had a 6:38 that time, I know it. Oh well. I've got work in a bit, so I'm not going to...

    Gran Turismo 4 Challenge

Okay, in my JZA70, on Medium Tires I just posted a 6:58.526. I will continue racing it for the next hour or so and see if I can't beat that. It was my first shot, so I figure I should be able to get down to about 6:49'ish. If I switch to softs or (goodness me) super softs, I should be way down...

Yeah, this is usually the story that I get told. The person sold the car, the car was crushed, it was a friend of a friend. Not that I don't think that you remember it being that way, but I've just never seen it happen and never seen any proof to back it up. Everything I've seen shows the...

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

86.5 - 88 Pulleys: All the same 90 - 92 Pulleys: All the same 89 N/A Pulley: Same as 86.5 - 88 (Even if the car had the optional PPS -- Odd) 89 Turbo Pulley: Same as 90 - 92 Not sure what the reasoning behind this is. Jeff

Yes, I've heard things like this before, but not once has anyone ever actually ever posted up any sort of proof, showing an 89 with a 3.91 differential. Every 89 I've seen (including 1st-2nd month production vehicles), has had a 3.73, and all of my documentation shows all 1989's came with 3.73:1...

89 was all 3.73:1 as well.

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

LOL. I'm blind, though I'm not completely wrong (although partially). The pulley is not different. It is the same pulley from all the information I have. The pump however is different. The vane plates and everything internal is different between them, and they have different part numbers. The...

special adapter harness when 86.5 radios were gone??

Adapter harness is discontinued, it wasn't just used for the Supra though, it was used for a few models when they changed the harness. Regardless, it can't be had from Toyota any longer.

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

The pump also has an electronically controlled VSV for the PPS, and (in North America anyways), the pulley is the same between PPS and non-PPS.

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

Japan Supras were not 1 year ahead. They were the exact same.
