    rod bearing = poop

Get the crank polished and replace the No.2 bearing, replace all the gaskets, and make sure everything is torque properly. As long as everything else was done properly before, this should be all that is needed. Jeff

    online EPC

It's a decent site, but doesn't always give you the information you need, and while more user friendly, I much prefer using the actual Toyota version. In any case, it's nice to have it all available online. :) Jeff

    2JZGTE Part Numbers!

Some of this list isn't bad, but a lot of it is out of date and discontinued. The dealer will have the most up to date information. If they are incompetent or whatever, just talk with one of the people online. Sometimes things change with years, etc, so just a list isn't always the best way to...

    2jz flywheels

If you use the 2JZ-GE manual 5-speed flywheel, you'll have to use the W58 transmission. If you want to use the R154 on a 2JZ, you need the 1JZ-GTE flywheel and clutch assembly (clutch is the same as the 7M-GTE). You cannot use a 2JZ-GE flywheel with an R154. Jeff

    Freeze Plugs keep blowing out

Or, maybe the wrong Dorman's were ordered, and deep-type ones should have been procured instead of shallow ones. Either way, I only use Toyota ones anyways, so whatever ;). Jeff

    Bottom end check/refresh

I disagree, you can remove all the bolts in sequence, pull the caps, pull the crank out. There's nothing wrong with this, and it is not unrecommended (is that a word) at all. Just keep things in the correct order. Disassemble the bottom end, check your clearances, etc. Don't be shy. If you find...

Who's car is runing right now

Voted for running and broken. It runs and drives, but needs a clutch, because under boost it slips. Jeff

    Who wants an MR2?! HELLO

I would do it right now if I didn't have to get it from Cali to Canada. :( EDIT: Also too many other cars, haha. Someone will take it off your hands I'm sure. Jeff

    Where to get keys cut?

Those aren't OEM blanks, just cheap aftermarket ones. OEM blanks are still available. I'm surprised the dealer can't do it, and that it was hard to find someone who would... That's whack. Jeff
