same but 9 months now for me, but i'm actually working on the motor right now... it's in the car... just that damn jdm thorttle body doesn't match up, so i gotta swap em :-/
aight, i should be able to get that done tomorrow, or maybee this mornin... pullin an all nighter tryin to get this finished... damn jdm motors... so much is different on em :-/ even the coolant lines to the heater core are different... thanks for the info
man, there was one just like that for sale around here, but it was a turbo 5 speed, 88, and had about 8,500 miles on it... it was like 11,000$ in PERFECT condition
apparently, the throttles are VERY different... anyone know anything about this... there is a rod that runs to the throttle body on the usdm motors, but a cable that runs to the throttle body on the jdm motors, and the cable on mine was cut down to about a foot or so... and no bracket on the...
i've only heard good things about the electric fans and controller... i think it actually flows more cfm than the stocker... also, i dunno how you would run lean @ 10 psi?
are you talkin about switching from rubber to the metal (ceramic treated) or from metal to metal (ceramic treated) switching from the rubber to the metal (ceramic or not) will ad like 1 or 2 hp, lol the ceramic will add like .001 hp, maybee? and look nice, that's it
the hardpipes, should add about 20 hp, just from reduced turbulence, and they obviously seal better and don't expand and contract (like rubber or plastic)... the ceramic should help keep intake temps down, so that's more hp right there.... the turbo inlet should add a few hp too, once again with...
