i dont have a w58 in my supra, but i have had 2 celica's wiht w58's, and the shift qualitly is far better in the w58, it's like shiftin into butter, while the r's i have driven you feel the engagment of the syncro and the gear, feels like it goes into gear twice, where the w58 is just smooth...

crank 0* check that the cams are aT 12 o"clock, pull out cps, align drilled holw with notch, insert cps so the hold down bolt hole is in the center of the arch, check timming, if off, repeat untill you can turn it and get it , i usualy get it one tooth off and i can adjust it but not pull it...

could you shift the tranny while engine is off? mine whitch i just through new bearings and syncros in i have problems shiftin into second when the tranny is cold. i would say change the fluid in the tranny, it may help yeah out, do you know whats in it?/ im runnin royle...

yeah i like my 3.91's too, but i'll like to put the ring and pinion onto my spair lsd so i'll have a 4.3 lsd, i like the how stable the supra is at high speeds.

increase tps enrich some till you see desirble results and try increasin the gain, if you push it say over 50% and it doesn't help then back off the orinal number.

1 tps is fine, 2, 22.3 is fine aswell thats decel no fuel 3. tps enrichment 4.i think the boost control has to do with the gain setting " i think"

yeah just need to remove the shifter from inside the car, the nipple that fits onto the bottom of the shifter goes on fairly easy just lube it. and add a little lube to the seat peice, and put her in, may need a blunt tool like a 3/8 extension, to help push her into place, but once in...
