For those of you with auto to 5 speed swaps. Can the wiring for the reverse lights be done with out much hassle once the trans is on the car???:aigo: Or is it the other way around? THanks
I think mine sounds the same way, but im running 10-11 psi though. Anyone know what if this is normal??? At first I thought it was a boost leak or something, but I also get the sound after letting of the gas pedal. ????
I do remember once a mechanic I took it to, telling me that it had low fuel pressure. He told me it was probably my fuel pump. I haven't done the fuel pressure test though, since I couldn't find the fittings to hook up my fuel pressure tester to the supra.
I just replaced the O2 sensor since the stock one on the car was no good anyways. So im not just throwing parts at it.
My mods are
10 psi on stock CT
3" Downpipe
2.5" intercooler hard piping
K&N intake
No Catalyzer
And thats it, I think.
Stock Turbo Elbow.
I was getting code 12. 25, 26. Code 25 and 26 means running rich and lean. So I replaced the O2 sensor since some wiring on the O2 was messed up( bought a Denso O2), to fix code 25 and 26. Code 25 and 26 came up again, and code 12 usually takes a while to come up(it will eventually come up...
I would love a built auto trans, but money is the only obstacle.
So the turbo shouldn't spool up slower. OK thanks for your input guys. :biglaugh:
I heard somewhere that the auto ecu is set up diffrent than the manual trans ecu, which casuses the turbo to spool up slower in between shifts. Has anyone thats done this swap experienced this?
I should have, but I didnt./ :aigo:
I got everything I need off of an 92 T supra. Got it for pretty cheap thanks to carlosptr210 a member on here. :biglaugh:
So im finally going to do the auto to manual swap. I have mostly everything I need, even a 6 puck clutch and everything. Really cant wait to get started this month.
So for those of you who have went auto to 5 speed manual, how do you like it? Hows it compared to the auto? big difference...
