on my beater honda i payed 287 for 87.. supra is 307 for 93.. And i'm fixing my second supra to become my dd.. 20 mpg vs 30+ 87 vs 93.. what am I thinknig! lol if it gets to 350+ a gallon for premium i'll sell the supra as the dd and buy another civic and turbo it or something.. haha

based on other engines (since i havn't seen with the 7m, would assume the same) that ~272s make plenty of power to 7500.. I'm not familiar with your build but if you on the stock head maybe your running into flow problems with the 280s.. your starting to outflow the head.. im just speculating...

i think there was someone that apperantly went like a 11.90 or something with the stock ct at 115 mph or something..

cams shift around the powerband.. a bigger cam will make the engine less efficient at lower rpms and so the spool will be a little slower.. but the top end will more then make up for it. What are you using for tunning? Are you going to increase the rev limiter? If not I would say a 272/264...

cams wont make the turbo spool faster.. but nitrous will :evil2: and i do have a 7m! lol

all of them are like that.. low oil pressure owns the 7m.. a 270-280 durration with 8-9mm lift is where tis at..

yea they are good for lower rpms (stock ct) as you see 5000+ the gte cams would start to make more power..
