Ahhh. Go WOT.. then let off if you see the guage go above 15. 18 should be plenty safe with a t66 and high octane pump guel. I run 18 on hte ts04 with pump 93. Have done this for 3 or 4 years.
Ya. I have a 6 lb spring in mine and wasn't scared at all to go WOT when i first put it on. Of...
"Its bert! On tv! Aight peace."
Along with this picture..
What's the deal??? Is bert THAT famous to be on television in BFE Indiana. I just know he uses the chicken thing.. and aight peace.. A LOT.
In fact.. Robert uses my car as the 'model' car on the 935 website. I wish I could go back and clean that nasty ass spot directly above the exhuast. Especially if I would have known it was going to be used on a website.
Also.. if he could blur out my tags.. that'd be cool. :)
I have ran a NUR spec for about 4 years or so. i used to drive 2.5 hours on the highway, twice a week for a year and a half. Drive it to many supra meets, and am currently driving it an hour each way to school 5 days a week.
Its not THAT loud. No silencer in it, and with an RPS header...
FWIW.. I have 2 cylidners low on compression. 2 and 5 or something like that. POint being, they aren't next to one another.
Anyway... If I didn't do a compression test on this motor, no way would I have known it had a problem. Runs absolutley flawless otherwise. THese weak cylinders are...
I'm suuure I'm more modded than you. I get 21.5 on average. I thought that was low, so I dropped in a new o2 sensor. I don't think mileage has cahnged much since doing so.
Something is wrong with the car to get less than 10. Unless its on a track and you're WOT for most of that tack.
Hmm... I would like MDC to spend more than about 5 minutes at the dyno. That's what I want for chi2k6.
i'm down for all of that.. aside from the drag racing. i think we only had a handfull of people do that last year. it just isn't a big draw for whatever reason. If we could get a...
I've been running -4 with no restrictor on my ball bearing TS04 for about 5 years now. A bit over 60k miles. Maybe there is a restrictor built into the CHRA, but I just threaded the fitting in.
uhhh hardwire it. The 89+ is the easiest to do.
I'm SUUUURE I responded to your thread on SF.com. its been a few days ago tho, and they are updating the server.
I've had an FJO for about 3 years or so. I bought an extra NTK L1H1 snesor way back when. I've ran multiple tankfulls of leaded fuel and its been on a few different cars. Its very portable if you ask me.
They are the most expensive option out there, but they have also been around the...
You also need a fuel pump. I'd be VERY suprised if he was actualy able to see those air fuel ratios. If so.. he is really adding fuel at the top end to compensate.
On a similarly equiped car, We would see fuel pressure drop fast at 5k rpms. Once over those revs, EGT started to peak over...
Not gonna find that with 500 WHEEL hp. A TS04 is about as "small" as you can go and see 500 to the wheels. Spool is about 1k rpms later as well. Could possibly help out that spool with an AEM, but you're getting into other things at that point.
How are you doing the underbuckets? Is it 2 4ag sets pooled together?
I'm guessing you had the head ported and polished, and then flowed. Max flow should be around 12.5mm (orwhatever number it was) of valve lift, since thats what you got those cams at. Any more lift than that and its just...
