Depends on where at in the exhuast system. I'll see 850C in the header. The further away it is from the head, the cooler it will be. It would be interesting to take temperature measurements at each foot starting from the turbo.
Don't do that Jon. :)
Run it into the compressor side of the turbo, unless you're like me and have a VPC. Or run an open BOV, in addition to the stocker hooked up per toyota and you'll not have to worry about it stalling.
PS.. I see you GF all the time on campus.
Give me your max power goal and I will give you a turbo to reach that. You say you want 500 "plus", "easy". You're going to have to define those terms. Plus = 50rwhp?? Easy = pump gas?
I've did this like 5 years ago when I was in school. I've scanned the pages so one can follow what I...
Don't push that much boost on pump gas. Problem solved. If you go over a bar of boost, run race fuel of your choice. Shame we can't see the timing logs to see how much its pulling back.
Tim, whats odd about this chicago meet is 2 of the 6 names you mentioned you wanted to see... are *IN* chicago. They were a no show. Sad really if you ask me. Apparently, both of them are doing well enough client wise to not need to expand their market. Maybe they had family obligations...
It was sad there are sooo many mk3s around the midwest with big power, and I end up taking home the mk3 dyno challenge cash. C'mon.
People that are in this thread were likely there, but if you were not.. thats a way to jeopardize meets later in the area. With no sponsors.. no meet...
I think I might make this one it'll be a last minute thing tho. Since thats how I do everything.
I'd like to split a room with someone as well. Preferably a 5'10" brunette with tight curls in her hair. In the 120lbs range.
