What do you mean by "expect"?
Good power.. all the time. Reliability will siffer a bit from teh stock setup, but if it's done correctly, it'll be very solid.
Of course.. I spent nearly 3500 on my "kit". Looks like you're looking at a kit that runs a third of that.
If htis motor is disassembled.. then drop it off at the machine shop for them to hot tank it. That'll take off alllllll hte nastyness every where. It'll eat everything except the block.
You're talking about resolution of a single ten thousandth. Toyota has a range of 2.0472 - 2.0463 on the rod jouranls. That's a span of .0009. Less than a thou. It's even less for the mains. I'd say a tolerance of less than a thousandth is pretty good for a production line.
I've never used a torque plate. REg Reimer claims no torque palte is needed with the 7m due to something i don't remember. www.supras.com and read up on it.
retarding igntion timing will greatly effect EGT. Really.. a/f isn't an influence in EGT. The reason why people will see higher EGTs when leaning a car is due to the car seeing knock, and retarding the timing. WHen it pulls timing, EGT's riase.
EGT's are raised due to the point at which the...
I say it depends on where the pitting is. If it's on a fire ring.. no way that'll work with combustion temperatures. If the pitting is near a cooling jacket, then put a dab of high temp permatex on hte pitting, slap a gasket on it, and bolt the head down. Obvoulsy... you can't complain about...
Everything needs to be removed and checked. Especially the cylinhder bores due to the oversized rings being used. ALL oversized (except toyota rings) require file fitting prior to installation. This takes many hours to do and is a very tedious process. I had to buy 2 new rings due to me...
I used nothing special aside from a puller for the harmonic balancer. The balancer slides on and off, but after being there for years, will need some help to come off. I rigged up a 2 jaw puller that worked for me.
Asshole?? Nice. You are the fool who ran low on oil and didn't have an oil pressure guage in the car. Not even a functioning stock guage. Oh, I still stand by that it was built incorrectly. Toyota bearings all the way.
I'm sure that 1jz will solve your lack of oil level attention and...
John.. Frontpage is part of Office.
I have office on a CD if you want it. Come up to the northside of Indy and you can have it to install. Altho I'll want the CD back.

I've never heard of anyone using any pressure except 45 psi to flow injectors. Typically injectors are designed to run bewteen 35 and 45 psi. The injector people out there use 45psi for static flow. When you order injectors, the flow rate is considered to be at 43psi.
Those 950s at a lower...
The car will be solid with those things listed.
if you want 500whp, you'll need a big turbo (even bigger if 500 is on pump fuel), intercooler, air metering device (afm, maft, vpc, ect.).
Turbo, fuel, and boost is what gets you power.
ts04 (58mm) .7 hot side
RPS header
505whp @ 29psi on a motor with 1 cyl at 100psi and another at 120psi. The rest were low 140s.
Dead nuts reliable. I have 65k miles on this turbo and header. I have about $3k in parts from the SS lines to the header, turbo, WG, and downpipe.
