sounds just like a hose leaking.. If you have bad valve seals it will smoke on startup.. if you have no seal.. it would probably smoke all the time.. Synthetic oil burns almost white..

bhg x2 7ms.. first one happened cause a Lucas Injector failed on me.. hydrolocked the engine and blew the gasket instead of the rod.. 2nd.. It had it since I've gotten it.. MHG done poorly... <--- lol....
