My old 1jz when I sold it gave me a little faith in the 1jz.. but still 3L > 2.5L...
my aem math said it made 400-410 whp..
my 2jz put down 394whp.. aem math says 340whp..
i dont understand why people keep their stuff secret, it just seems like they're trying to hide something.. or bluffing.. thumbs up to them if they do actually have 1000whp.. but I would like to see it go down the track instead of dyno..
not bad.. I need to build a hardtop 1jz car and beat that record :)
DAMN.. stock stall converter?!!? thats insane! didn't think it would come out that hard with only like a 2000-2500 stall!
sorry to hijack..Jay do a leakdown test to see if its the cams causing the compression or its actually the motor... or maybe a bad valve/valve seat.. itll give a more accurate gauge to judge the health of the engine.. and to see where its leaking..
yes thats the plug.. I dont remember the pinning.. but look under the center of the dash you will see the mixture control servo, you need to verify that its in the proper position...
I'm pretty sure the turbos will bolt to the manifold, but will just need a modified y pipe cause placment might be a tad off (maybe can machine stock y pipe to fit)
Even with ful vac on the valve and coolant running through the core it shouldn't blow hot if the CC is set to 65.. Your servos in your dash are probably stuck/positioned wrong..
