Check your vacume hoses, are they worn out? Replace them if so. On the TB you're talking about the two skinny vacume inlets right? Yes they are suppost to have vacume, that's what they're there for ;).
:werd: is that radiator pipe even for the supra?!
IMHO I would turn around that pipe, cut about half the bend off, and run it through the snorkel hole. Oh, and BTW, cut off the skinny section of your 3K pipe. That upper hard pipe is kinda pointless with that still there ;).
:werd: I wasn't here the last time there was one, and I'm def down for one! It's kinda funny, I'm down for a lot of the group buys and shit being sold right now: Nashman's shifter, the brake booster brace, judub's ceramic coating skillz, etc.....
As far as grounds go, you should be able to ground any ground wire to a good solid grounding point. I don't think it really matters that the stock ground wires are grounded in the same place, but we'll have someone confirm this first ;). You may want to replace the stock ground wires with...
I think there's a rumor going around that suprasport should be completing a new stock-like manifold that's ct-26 compatible, along with it's bigger, upgraded cousins ;).
It's more like 24"... I think an EGT gauge would be more like 6" from the turbo (or pre-turbo preferably). If you mount the WB in the testpipe at a 1-3 o'clock position there should be no problems with condensation. This position is also optimal for keeping anything from hitting it too. It's...
Actually I was talking about gixxer's tank ;). I didn't know if it was really dirty in there and the pumps were sucking in shit that was killing them or what...
Nah, mines pretty much put up for the winter ;). The last supra dynoing session I was at was in Louisville at the last meet, and I didn't drive mine there ;). I'm waiting for a good weekend to go get a few 7mgtes from a guy a met a the meet.
On that note, what does the inside of the tank look like? Have you ever tried cleaning it (I'm too lazy to read back through the thread just to check)?
If I don't boost much (or if at all) when I go to park mine I will let it sit for about 10-30 seconds, depends on the mood I'm in. Hard driving: I will park it and get out, pop the hood and check things out for a little bit, then turn it off a little later (about 1-2mins total).
Driftmotion.com sells do-it-yourself ic piping kits and some nice intercoolers that you can choose from ;). Most ppl on here make thier own kits I think (That's what I'll be doing on my rebuild.). The best part of that is you can run the IC piping through the old intake hole by the passenger...
Muwahahahaha, I knew it was 10 seconds ;).
I also check the car out before I drive it. I actually pop the hood and check all fluids before I start and take off.
According to Suprasport.com Mike's turbo should be good up to 675HP... Maybe we should email them a copy of this thread to see if they will reconsider this statement? ;).
Have you ever seen IJ's fuel cell? You may want to check out his to get some ideas on how he did his. He is the only person that I can recal at the moment who has a fuel cell in the supra.
Ninja edit:: As stated by IJ, his tank is 90 litres and it's for propane. So disregard my previous...
