And that's why I'm going BOSS 550 after my rebuild's done and the engine's broke in ;). It's not that I want to boost that much, I just want to have the potential if I ever need it.:naughty:

Wow... I think I may have soiled my pants if my tires broke loose accelerating that fast. Did it feel a lot stronger than usual? I think this happed to Ian once and his engine survived. I'd say if it was only for like 4 secs, you may have got lucky. I would start checking lines right away...

Google the covers, they're out there. As far as direct replacements for your year supra (same as mine), they're out there. The LED version tail lights are around 1900.00 bucks... Yeah... You'd be stupid to spend that much on tail lights when you could do the 89+ swap for under 200.00 ;).

Yep no probs here with the name brand. ;) I think ppl just have problems with theirs sticking while it's cold, which they shouldn't be trying to boost until the engine is fully warmed up in the first place...

Does it feel like there is a turbo kicking in at all? With it being stock it should be slightly noticable, but not as much as you would think... You do have a snail looking thing on the exhaust side of the engin right? Just joking ;). Check to make sure your vacume lines to the boost sensor...

How's the grounds? Isn't there a ground on the coil pak somewheres?

^ I agree also. The stocker will leak on higher boost, which in turn defeats the purpose of the bosch bpv.
