89s are weird.. they have pre 89 connectors and post 89 connectors.. you'll just have to match the connectors up.. the colors MIGHT be different.. I dont remember from when I rewired my buddys harness.. 1jzgte.us is all i used.. works perfect.. cept his oil pressure.. i dont remember what i did...

its a rear sump.. you can clearly see the sump on the rear side of the engine.. do you have the brackets on the correct side? they might be backwards

28 rs would give responce like stock twins, but yea, only max out at like 320-330whp probably.. a 2871 would be better.. but I think the exhaust would be too restrictive for a high reving 1j... a 3076r would be the best bet imo.. or a gt3040 (gt30 exhaust gt35r compressor) for some more power...
