Then you've over cammed your car. If the car is setup correctly (so it will breath on the top end) it will gain power with 272s over 264s. again... it will have to breath to the 8k range to see good gains with the 272s over 264s from what i've seen in the mkivs
Lance has the say on the mkiii rules per peter.. I figure this poll will help figure out where the community wants them to run and help lances decision on this..
Yea, I get what your saying about the head thing. I'm just saying theres nearly no difference between a stroked 1jz block and using...
120 a year? holy crap.. thats nothing, lol..
if you dont drive much, then the supra is ok.. but I drive a hell of a lot.. and if I dont drive, im bored and spend money on other shit..
plus extra money towards my next project is good.. cause I'll need it :evil2:
So yesterday I got gas @ 3.17 a gallon (not bad) but cost me 50$. So I did a little math seeing how much it would save me to own a civic for a dd. I drive roughly 750 miles (guesstimated, but always need 2.5 tanks) in a 2 week interval.. so driving the supra get ~ 20 miles a gallon and 3.20 a...
If it were decided that 1.5jz ran with mkivs then someone build a stroker using the stock 1jz block making it a 3L 1jz would they have to run in the mkiv class as well? There is no real difference at all. The block is a bit taller, and thats it.. oh and the 2jz stamp on it.
And SBC are rated...
It was previously decided that the 2jz has an unfair advantage and should be racing with the mkivs, so 2jz swapped mkiiis are racing with the mkiv. But The grey area is 1.5jzs.. Last year they competed with the mkiiis, but people complained.. so Hence the poll..
Last year at Texas there was a bunch of confusion on the 1.5jzs, as 1jzs were allowed to complete in hte mkiii classes but 2jz were required to complete with the mkivs. Ended up the 1.5jz cars ran in the mkiii classes last year, but there was a bunch of confusion over it. So to solve that, I've...
Yea I'm heading to bed as well.. Hit me up on aim tomorrow when I'm on.. will be on/off have to back and get things ready for my vacation.. might not check this board much
on the 2jz no need to move any bracket, it bolts right up.. Being a few inches short seems like the wrong cable.. if an inch, could be a camry cable or somehing thats bolt up for the 1jz
Since you dont have a volt meter to check the voltage of M-rel its hard to know if its outputting a voltage to main relay. Does the test light have a bulb or a LED?
IF LED, then you could try to jump power from Batt to M-Rel (cut going to ecu first) to jump the main relay on and power +b and...
ahh yea.. if Batt is getting 12v then the efi fuse is fine.. doh.. must be the relay, wiring, or the ecu
edit: in your old post you said re redid the wiring? did you mess with C1 at all? what colors are where? might be backwards there somewhere.. how did you wire C1?
