Okay everybody, I'm rebuilding my 7M-GTE and I will need a new clutch while its out. For now, my power plans are going to be BPU, and up no more than 400hp in the future. I want something full-faced so it isn't a bitch to drive (stop-go traffic, parking ramps, dates, etc.), but also strong...
haha sounds like a plan to me, we do have a number of months still though, I'm amazed how few in MN stand up and take notice when it comes to meets....
(one caveat, I'm a bad Minnesotan and haven't fished much :icon_razz )
It was the angle of the pic that makes it look like the mileage changed, it's actually the exact same gauge swapped into a different cluster, so it's 100% original mileage with no rolling. I do plan on replacing the DP with a BIC , but I'm going to buy that at the same time as a Wideband, and I...
Yeah, it does look pretty scary, but I was told by Jim that he will be able to machine it all off so it stops, and it'll have enough thread left to still hold the oil filter tightly.
That's good to hear, it's nice to hear positive feedback. I found him through another Supra owner on a...
That's him, I didn't know him until recently....what's you guy's opinion of him? He seems like a pretty level headed guy and left a good impression on me, I guess I'll have to see how the engine turns out to know 100%. Since my thread has been bumped...here's some recent winter pics!
I just thought of this idea myself, buying a cheapo N/A and strapping on $1k of Nitrous. The 7M-GE's smooth powerband would be amazing with more power behind it.
I've got a link up at www.MNbeaterz.com, a little forum, but worth a shot.
I've also posted a link in www.toyotanation.com a forum I frequent.
edit: I'm working on posting it on www.mnsportcompacts.net too, there are a few Supra guys there too, but posting events there is poky, so it'll take a...

Hi everyone, I just got an AEM Tru-Boost boost gauge/controller, and this is going to be the first time I've installed an aftermarket gauge in my car. I had a few questions just to make sure I'm not screwing it up. I noticed the gauge has two red wires, both switched, fused, +12VDC. Is it okay...
Wow, these new ones are strange. It says a '91 5-speed corolla gets something like 26mpg vs. the old rating of 30. That's BS, in both my old corollas i got about 33-37, mixed driving.
