I have some brackets that were welded to fit the recaro's that were in my '89 turbo. They will be up for sale soon and I imagine they would work with many, if not all aftermarket setas. :dunno:

Put some oil in there asap. If you know it's low(aka, below the full mark) then why dont you add a bunch more? Like maybe almost 2 quarts...

What exactly happens when you go to start it? Can you get it to stumble? You say it turns, but doesn't try to start? :dunno: Have you checked codes? Cold start injector?

I speed plenty on open/unoccupied roads. (read: Utah stretch of I-70 and I-15) On trip to Vegas cruise was set at 100mph. Speeding 50 over is just ridiculous though. $1000 dollar fine doesn't seem too high to me. :dunno:

FWIW, the castle nuts on my exhaust manifold->front exhaust section flange kept loosening. I got new toyota castle nuts and they stopped loosening. Could just use a dab of loctite, perhaps, but I wasn't sure about the heat affecting it and I worked at toyota so the nuts were very easy to get.

Wish I could be there for the show-n-shine tomorrow. At least half those guys better be at the drag strip Saturday night. I would be speechless after seeing a 990rwhp MKIII make a run.
