Well bigger than 9mm or .22. ;)
It won't be for CCW, more just for target practice and gaining familiarity of handling/shooting something bigger than a BB gun.
I have the opportunity to pick up a sig p239 .40 S&W from a friend for ~$500. It's a little larger caliber than I planned on for a first firearm, but it would be quite a deal I think.
Anyone have advice for/against it?
Sigs seem to be a good reliable choice so I'm thinking I can't go too...
Progressive is always better.
You should be looking at resolution. NOT size. A big ass 720p tv won't be shit compared to two small LCD monitors with a 2000 resolution.
I would most definitely get LCD monitors. Hell, why even get more than one? Get one like these and you'll be just fine for...
I'm sure the car was beautiful on the outside, but the dyno proves either he was unfamiliar with a dyno and was at 1/2 throttle or the engine was a little on the tired side.
Stock turbo in brand new condition should be ~190RWHP if I'm not mistaken.

Go to harbor freight and get the 15 dollar timing light. :) I got another basic (but much more expensive one) and the cheap one worked better.
Warm up motor, turn off motor, jumper diagnostic E1 an TE1 IIRC, start motor.
Point timing gun just behind main fan and watch for timing marks on...
Say what? Read below:
I have ZERO tickets. I use a radar detector most the time and it has warned me of three speed traps which I was about to speed through over the last 3 years. :)
I loved the back-ups cameras on cars at the dealership because I was backing ~100 cars up per day, as close to something behind as possible. With those cameras, you can get within 5 inches every time and NEVER hit a car. Good stuff.
In my car it would be utterly useless. I back my car into a...
By the time you go through the effort and time of making a small block chevy motor fit and run in a mkiii, along with fitting power steering, climate control, etc. you would be spending a lot. I've heard this before and I just dont get it. If you want an affordable V8 car, get a domestic...
