90 N/A 5spd Targa. The targa squeaks now, which is annoying, but I still enjoy every minute driving it. Runs well, reliable, stock and slow, but I like it. :)

I own a 90 N/A and last year I had an 89 turbo. Insurance was exactly the same. Not a dollar different. **To add: I'm 22, perfect driving record, good grades discount, multiple cars in my name. I'm sure my insurance company sees me as a very low risk. :)

Afaik, you can not "switch" the frequency the phone runs on. It is either equipped with the right frequency or it isn't. If T-mobile does not support your phone, then try AT&T. It's not the "clown's" fault your phone doesn't pick up a signal.

Well put. I'm sure your car will be in tip top shape much longer than some others around here. Not saying either way is better, but I completely understand not thrashing around town in a beautiful, nearly classic car. :)

A dictionary. If you have coolant in a cylinder, you most likely blew that head gasket. Did you machine both the block surface AND the head? Compression is very high on number one and very low everywhere else. On paper, that engine is not looking healthy.

Do what you can with what you've got and you'll be just fine. Stay focused, work hard, take work (whatever it is) more seriously than the next guy and you'll get on your own feet soon enough. I don't even know ya and I've got faith in ya. ;)

Word on that. The MR2 I bought a while back had a fuel pump nearly dissentegrate. It had been sitting for at least 2 years if not 5.
