I give up! One for the experts..

What code did it throw when you had the CEL light on? You need to check the timing. If you don't have a timing gun, get one. How on earth do you know it overheated when the temp gauge did not move?

    Clutch Pedal Problem

Check slave cylinder. If your fluid levels are ok, I'd put a few bucks down that that is the problem. ;)

    I hate Toyota Hose Clamps!!!

Dont waste your time or money on worm clamps. If the existing clamp is too much of a pain, buy new ones from toyota and they'll be easy as pie to install. :) My .02

    Intel fined $1.45billion

Sounds like the European Union would get it. With claims like this, it seems as though they better have very specific proof that Intel bribed manufacturers. If the manufacturers accepted the bribes would they not be JUST as responsible for the anti-trust breach?

    Hi

Welcome and good to hear another high mileage NA. :) I'm at 294k right now. Original block, many rebuilds. Turbo is next on the list, but I'll be getting the NA to at least 300k. ;)

    Violent shake/clunking. Bogs down RPM's. broken/loose bolt?

As said before clutch pedal sticking to ground has to be clutch related. Trans wouldn't make that happen. If your master is bad (if it leaks, then its bad...) then you need to replace that. That may be a good start.

    Vacuum line Q's

TSRM if you don't have one, use the online one. Simply google "TSRM". It will be the very first hit. :)

    N/A Issues......

Do you have oil in the coolant? Do you have coolant in the oil? Do you have white foamy/milkshake crud on the inside of your oil cap? If any of these are a yes then you probably have a BHG (blown head gasket)

    What is this step for?

CRE needed to redo his and I helped him (or watched him, haha) pull just the lower timing covers and it worked just fine. Although if you haven't run the car yet, pulling the head would be just as easy.

    neutral start switch hardwire question

If you are talking about the clutch safety, you simply jumper the two terminals on the harness side and leave the plug unplugged. Super easy.

    Manual Transmission Noises.

Sounds like something in the input section of the tranny is fubar'd. Time to rebuild or simply replace.
