Do you need to replace the oil pump d/s bearings even if it is within clearance specs? Is it just good insurance or are you a damn fool for not replacing them once you remove the shaft? I ask because the TSRM just says to check clearance and if it's excessive to replace them. :dunno:

Advanced timing without a functioning O2 sensor?!?! I think we found another few items "working against you that we dont know about" just like I stated above. Doesn't matter if you have race gas, you shouldn't run a car without an o2 sensor, let alone advance the timing on it. :nono:

Do exhaust and suspension. Those can swap over just fine. Dont kill the na motor for fun if it's perfectly fine. If it's running well when you go do the swap you can sell it for at least a few hundred. Then put that in your piggy bank for when the new motor needs attention.
