    The Inevitable Down Pipe Question

I'd definitely get one. Without a flex section the piping needs to be dead nuts accurate. The flex section gives you more room for workmanship error in addition to allowing movement while driving. Even a great manufacturer or builder will have some error in the piping flanges and such. That flex...

90 supra shootin from the hip

OP: nice car and sad to hear about wiring issues. Mine was about that bad so I decided to rebuild the entire thing from the ground up. My coil pack wires left me stranded in the middle lane of a 4 lane 55mph road at a stoplight. :( Wiring issues can be outright dangerous. I have the lotek...

    7M build advise please

Happy to try and help. :) For piggybacks, I've been meaning to really dive in and write-up a good comparison, but I haven't had the time. As a very general statement, MAFT-pro will offer more tuning options and features, but it's rather cryptic. You'll have to do some homework before you even...

The Fruition of Obsession -- 310,000 mile makeover --

Yup, wire came from them. I couldn't find a better deal. They've got great prices and really low minimum lengths.

The Fruition of Obsession -- 310,000 mile makeover --

No idea who that is. The wiring is 100% me. :) I spec'd every single piece. Every item was purchased individually(wires, heatshrink, terminals, wire seals, sheathing, connectors, eyelets, splices). Every crimp done in my own garage. I'll try to total the cost in the end, but it's well over $1000...

    88 Blue Turbo restoration/upgrade story

I wasn't sold on the polished compressor housing.... until now. That thing looks gorgeous against the black ceramic coated hot side. Driftmotion or Albert?

    Easy power?

2JZ swap? and you want a free mod to make more power on a 7M for 2 months? and you just installed a 3in downpipe? I'm confused.

    The Return of BorHor

As always, very interested in watching the build. :) I thought the stock 2JZ turbos wouldn't fit in the mk3 engine bay?

    mk3 wire tuck

I love the clean bay look, but when you have to remove fender liners to check fuses and relays its a little much. Im anxious to see how clean my bay looks when im done with the new harness. Surely nowhere near as clean as the one pictured in this thread, but should be a more functional for a...

    DIY Head gasket job possible?

Check my sig for a writeup on my experience. Definitely doable, but you need to do your research and understand what you're getting into.

    BHG Repair

Yeah that looks pretty good. It's hard to get it much better than that without digging into the surface. Throw an OEM gasket on there and you're in business!

turboing a 7mge with out using turbo electronic's

no intercooler? I would think 5 psi is still a lot of boost for a non-intercooled, high compression engine. I'm sure it'll work for a little while and it would be quite peppy, but i wouldn't expect it to last long.

I would say you can thank Tapatalk for that. ;) SM on my phone is my favorite way to pass an extra 60 seconds at work while I'm waiting for some program to start up or something.
