I like my factory alarm. Works just like it's supposed to and works great with my Viper alarm as well. The viper alarm disarms and arms the factory alarm at the same time. So for anyone to actually steal my car they need to disarm BOTH alarms which would never happen unless they spent some...
Glad I could help. Learning wiring stuff can be a bit tough at first, but if you google "Making wire splices" or "making wire crimps" you'll get some good scattered info. You'll need a crimper, a butt splice and a wire stripper. It's simple stuff, but it's easy to do a poor job on it. :(
It's...
Check my link again. They sell true, mil spec tefzel wire. The paragraph mentions how pvc is no longer accepted. ;)
True tefzel wire at low cost, many color options and no minimum order. No pvc.

Best place I found for tefzel wire is Aircraft Spruce. You can google "MIL 22759/16 wire" and you should find plenty of vendors. If there's an aircraft supply store near you , you may be able to find this stuff in person. It was tough for me to find many places that would allow you to buy...
From left to right (top three): B3, B2, B1. The one below is the female M1 connector.
The M1 connector should be small and is routed above your head if your looking at the ECU area. Here are the wires attached to the cross bar right above the ECU.
If that connector you have looks like it...
Do you still have your old NA harness? You should have that same plug regardless of NA or turbo. Maybe somebody repinned those wires before you got the chassis? I'd check the old harness and see if it had the same small M1 plug. If your old harness had it then you MUST have the male end of the...
It's black and in terminal #4.
Speedometer also has a Pink cable coming from an electronic sensor inside the gauge cluster. This signal is used by the ECU as a parameter for Spark Advance and Idle Speed Control Valve and is in terminal #3 of the M1 connector. Pink wire going from M1 to ECU. :)
Small progress today. Polished up the fuel rail with a quick hand job. Giggety...
Also installed the injectors back from Aaron @ Driftmotion with his new fuel injector cleaning service. :)
Cleaned, but no polish:
One pass of polish:
A few more:
Went to install the rail and found one of...
Ok this was way too easy. I never read this at home and reading on my phone clearly had me skipping over some details. Your answer is in the second reply from hvyman. He's right, that's your M1 plug and it sends a bunch of signals to your gauge cluster. See the diagram below. See the little...
Measure the bolt diameter, inside diameter and outside diameter. I can't remember which, but one should match up perfectly with what they offer.
I just replaced my filter, but I can't remember which measurement was the one they used when naming. I'm almost positive its the inner diameter.

My thought as well. Pretty sure you could buy an entire set of tools, jack, jackstands, tranny jack, etc and still spend less than paying them to do that.
I might be wrong though...

That is easily 10x cooler than my capstone in mechanical engineering. We did a little CAD, lots of fea and some burst testing.
So are you actually going to build any kind of prototype?
