You'll feel a good power gain, but that doesn't mean it's safe. If your car is running rich, you should figure out why. The lex AFM changes the air signal by about 25%. You're now running 25% leaner than what the stock ECU wants.
If you were/are running rich, it was likely the car's way of...
Eek, dual is horrible quality. Really, really bad. :(
Did you get a dash kit? You'll need a plastic mounting kit for the stereo to even look ok. Without the dash kit, it'll look terrible.
The adapter connectors, aka harnesses, are helpful and much easier to deal with compared to soldering or...
If you are looking at the stock oil gauge, forget about it. The stock gauge is not accurate enough to worry about low oil pressure. If you are really concerned, get a good aftermarket gauge or hook up a mechanical oil gauge.
Honestly, you're worries would be better utilized dozens of other...
LEX AFM requires the 550 injectors. That's the whole point of the upgrade. The AFM without the injectors is somewhat useless like supraguy said.
Lightweight crank pulley wont do you any appreciable good, IMO.
I wouldn't bore the block anything beyond what is required. There are PLENTY of ways...
Like I said, boost pressure is a small part of a big equation. You can easily have 50whp difference in one psi increase if you change a bunch of other items.
Don't get all hung up on a certain "psi".

Nice updates! The shift knob, empera's ebrake and shift boots and upper rear molding were a few of my first steps when I bought my mk3 too. It can really transform the cabin feel if those parts are old a tattered. Interior looks clean!
Using the stock CT-26 at 14 psi is a little more than most would probably recommend. However, if you were to run at that boost level (and risk burning out the ct-26 in a very short time) you'd probably be around 300-375 whp. It all depends on what else you've done.
The boost level is a small...
Sounds like you have more than a couple problems. You need the knock sensors. Without them, I think you're driving in limp mode constantly.
Sounds like you might have a boost leak too.

No joke, the term is actually pretty neat. I will spend some of my breaks at work reading it. The system descriptions and wiring diagrams are great. You can understand how virtually everything in the car works.
Between the tsrm, tewd and epc you have virtually all the info you'd need to build a...
When you took the gauge out, there weren't multiple pieces? There's a backing plate that falls off immediately and I think a couple others.

There are no plug n play gauges for our dash. Every time you see someone with an upgraded gauge, it has been done with significant modification to the cluster.
OP: Perfectly normal to see low pressure. The engine doesn't require a lot of pressure and the gauge tends to read a little low...
I'm always impressed how damn clean you get everything. And all the paint work... Ugh. I have a hard time getting a couple pieces painted properly and you seem to paint ten pieces a week!
Have you checked the dimmer? Maybe the dimmer is going bad. Here's the wiring diagram. All you're doing when you touch the white-green to ground is eliminating the dimmer (AKA rheostat). If it works fine with the white-green on ground then I would bet your rheostat has gone bad. It's easy to...
PM'd about the kit. I'm glad someone might be able to use it. I spent $80 on it and never used it. I nearly threw it out when i moved because i know it's a rarely used item.
I took mine down for the winter in November and it's still just hanging out in the garage waiting for the new wiring harness to be done.
Still many things I have to do before it's ready, but I've set a loose goal of April 1st for starting it up again. :)
I present to you many hours of work from sifting through my 1990 Supra Toyota Wiring Manual:
I'd still double check all of those, but they should be right. :)
