I used two 89+ harnesses and they worked fine on my 90 NA chassis. One needed some re-arrangement in an ECU connector, but I think that was the PO's doing. OP: probably worth checking your wires at the ECU end against a wiring manual. The one posted publicly is for an 89. Might want to buy one...
Still wiring away. I did basic OHM testing yesterday and everything looked good. I didn't put in the battery and do complete voltage tests, but I'm getting anxious and I suppose I'm living on the edge, lol.
Pics of some of the harness as it stands now: I hope to get it done this week. :)

German Castrol, 0-30, Pure One filters.
10k between oil changes, with oil added as needed to keep it approx one quart above full mark. 5k between filter changes. ~10k on full rebuild, minus piston rings.
Hmm.... hose sucked flat and heater core problem dont really jive.
If the heater core has a significant leak, that would keep the coolant from pressurizing and easier to boil. That would explain the overheat, but not the hose suckled flat. :dunno:
Either way, it's obvious that thing will...
Going into any generic parts store with the expectation of any degree of automotive expert assistance is a mistake. They are retail employees, nothing more. You should always walk in knowing exactly what you need and why you need it.
If your after parts quickly, give Aaron at driftmotion a...
I'm sorry, I love the mk3 more than any healthy person really should, but the FD RX7 is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The FD is like the gorgeous girl that walks in and makes the pretty hot other girls look ugly. Though I guess that's a predictable response given my screen-name...
Look who strolled through! Alright, so you post for the first time in like... a year; then I look back and I was the last to post in this thread until someone brought it back from the dead.... and my post was on my birthday. I'm pretty sure that means we're like Blues Brothers or Soul Sisters or...
Agreed. Pretty sure the mk3 had the shortest stopping distance in all the road and track type tests that were done on it when compared to other "sporty" cars in it's time. (IE 300ZX, RX7, 3000GT..etc)
Was my daily for 4 years, now it's only a nice weather vehicle. I split daily driving between the 90 Supra, 91 Truck and '07 Ninja 500. :)
I'd like to get rid of the truck though. Maybe trade it for a clean gs300/400 or something.
I haven't seen one. You may want to ask "Van". If I remember right, he was building a dedicated track mk3 and had an awesome build going. I'm sure he at least considered a dry sump.
Eibach maybe? I dont think the stock mk3 springs are progressive and those look like a progressive spring rate.
Only aftermarket spring company I know of that makes plain black springs is Eibach, though I'm sure there are others.
12 is fine and probably as much as you would want to push it reliably.
Remember, the mhg requires profession machine work and a very smooth deck surface. Make sure your machinist can machine the block smooth enough.

Some pics from my regular camera I just got around to uploading....
The location of boost controller. This mounting point will be shared by the new wire harness as well. Details coming later.
Newly painted battery area. I used Rustoleum Rust Converter. hopefully it'll hold up.
