    Exhaust manifold bolts

umm, hmmmm, ig uess if your finger is small enough, you could stick it in the hole, and see if you feel any threads... :icon_wink Or you could try and screw a stud in, but it will probably just slide in and out... so, yea, you will have to take the manifold off, it's easy to get off...

    Chilton Magazines?

Okay, you NEED to buy the TSRM if you can't get around it being online. It is great, and will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. The Chilton's book is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, I went into mine to see how to remove the starter, and it literally said "Remove starter"...then when i looked to...

    Exhaust manifold bolts

yes, you will have to remove the exhaust manifold, and helicoil those studs. A previous owner probably went to put the manifold back on and they stripped out, they panicked, and just said "screw it"! You should take a look at bigaaron's solution to this problem, I saw his replacement...

    Engine oil mixed with coolant...

First, flush the cooling system. Second, the block test is a kit that you can rent from, say, Autozone or Kragen that sits on top of the radiator, and detects any exhaust gasses in the coolant, which would mean=BHG. This is definitely the easiest way to do it, but won't always tell you if...

    Engine oil mixed with coolant...

hmmm, depends, is there any coolant in the oil, coolant disappearing? I would do a compression test, or maybe a block test, and if it comes back positive, don't drive the supra any more, park it now.

    Engine oil mixed with coolant...

how long has it been since the colant was changed, and the system flushed? May just be old coolant (kinda dirty), or maybe a previous owner mixed different color coolants (not flushing when switching from red to green) Try flushing it out, and see what happens.:dunno: Hopefully there is...

    New one on me. heating

hmm, probably the Heater/hot water control valve (sorry, i'm not sure what it's called) but i hear that it is common for them to die, that's likely the culprit... http://www.ma70.com/bishop92t/techtips/7mlayout.jpg It the thing in that picture that is labeled "heater core vsv" it is back...

    Oil leak

yea, my CPS o-ring was like a rock, I had to chip it to get it off... Also, I had oil leaking from one of the cam caps a while back, was a really bad leak, smoked and everything else, just tightened the two bolts on the front exhaust cam cap, and problem solved! Also, check your valve cover...
