Sounds like normal behavior...my car acts similar. An electronic boost controller should take care of it..

I had a local shop charge my AC with R143a refrigerant (stock specified amount AFAIK) and my car has not overheated ONCE in two years...no lopey idle either. As for the OP...check that your electric auxiliary fan(s) are working.

I repainted the wheels on my Mercedes with Duplicolor Arctic Silver, and high-temp clear coat. They have been holding up very well for about 5 months.

Spiders love to cling to my mercedes' hood ornament. Took like 15 minutes for one to fly off one time.
