That's all you can do...would be very foolish to sell it now, before you even get it running.
BTW, is that on OEM head gasket you have for sale, or is it metal?
Depending on how long it was knocking for, and how bad...the crank could be damaged, meaning it would have to come out and be polished...if you jsut replace the bearings and leave the crank all scored up, you would have rod knock again very soon.
I would give more info about my car...but I don't have any info...my car had 200k when I bought it, and promptly had a BHG within two weeks of purchase. I have since put about 12k miles on it.
If you really want a MKIV Supra...GET IT. Don't even bother with the MK3, you will be disappointed when it doesn't make 400rwhp with BPU's. Seems like a lot of people tend to default to the older MK3 Supra when they find out they can't afford the newer MKIV Supra...and the truth is, they are...
