WELCOME to the 3E5 club! You must be sworn into the Blue Supras haters club, and you will be set. Congrats on a great purchase. Your car has the prerequisite metal head gasket and ARP studs to be ready to throw wahtever you want at it. This site is where you want to be, don't bother with that...
The CD player should not be a problem for the car if everything is working properly in the charging system. On the other hand, if you have narrowed it down to the CD Player for sure, and all else is fine, you have a short somewhere in your connections, or something hooked up wrong.
Yet another thing you and I have in common...........maybe we should start dating????????? Now, I'm gonna go home and be sure I'm playing with the right handle. I guess I'm just a man, I just reach between my legs and start pulling on whatever sticks out.
I will remind you people that Heinz ketchup is also slow, but worth the wait. Dave is just demonstrating what happens when you build a Supra, having never driven one. He is not driven by withdrawal like most of us usually are during our build. Add to that he has other transportation, and doesn't...
I don't see that happnin'! I could see a full 2JZ in his future. This time he can take his time. If he go nuts in need for some Supra drivin action, there will always be a 7M that's got his back out in the yard. It will just be a matter of how many Honey Do's that will be required to get the chance.
I don't think that the fact he is not a mechanic should really be pointed out. This would be a very boring site if it weren't for people helping people. We are not a band of Supra driving Mechanics, but with a little help, we can get things done.
We also need a new sig that properly displays the nice new moldings. And maybe you could have the new lip photoshopped in at the same time. I love the idea of a grey lip! Hell, paint the whole car grey if you want to.
Stupid question..........So would ITB's be Individual Throttle bodies? I does look like there is some sort of throttle linkage mounted to each runner on the manifold
OK, I have just done a test fit, as the bees have gone to bed for the night. It looks like it can be done, but there is one hurdle that would have to be done to make it work, that I don't quite know if there would be a consequence to. The outlet on the top of the S13 radiator is on the passenger...
I have a s13 in the yard that is in somewhat unbuilt condition, as well as a parted out MKIII shell. I don't think the radiator is bolted into the S13, so I could probably test fit it for you. They are both really close to the home of quite a few aggressive bumble bees. I can do it at night...
I'd study harder for the next exam. Who know's what a 100 would get ya. Congrats on the payraise! Too bad we don't have a classy equivalent to the shaking boobies to give you.
Lance.........I think you have hit on something there. We should all adopt the "That's not a Supra" attitude as well. You could follow it with a saying of choice (ie. it's a legendary fast and furious car, it's an eclipse look a like, it's a Jelly Bean........). All in good fun of course, I...
Jay, my car came with two stock carpets in it. That itself provides a good bit of sound deadening. Also, didn't you do some sound deadening on your own car?
