What happen with Patrick/Flatlander, please. I ordered most of my rebuild parts from Flatlander and I would like to know if I should be concered about what happened with Patrick/Flatlander. Or can somebody direct me to a rebuild/thread.
Thanks.
Well that's only about two fingers, not to bad.:icon_bigg Thanks Doc I'll let you know. You notice much more brake pressure with the bigger booster? Seems to me after my rebuild my pressure had decressed, maybe due to the change in camshafts. Just would like to have that extra insurance:naughty:
O.K. I have seen several threads that say .060 is the max you should go and only with a post 89 block.
What happened with Patrick and Flatlander? Problem with a stroker kit?
It still sounds like a low battery. I know you said you changed the battery. It takes a lot more amps to start than your lights and such. Is your fan belt loose? That would cause the battery to not fully charge. Maybe drive it for a while then take it to AZ or someplace and have them check the...
Save the speeding for the track. You're not indangering anybody else, it's safer, a lot more fun, cheaper than a stiff fine, definalty cheaper in the long run if you get caught, ins. ticket, court cost, etc, and a lot more fun.
I think you would have to run fairly low on oil to not have the pump not pick up oil unless you were under hard braking or cornering. I know that from experience:nono: How long since your last oil change? Maybe if it's been a while, a fresh quart maybe brought up the viscosity?:dunno:
I think there is only two ways coolant could get in the intake were you described it, one is what cuel described with the coolant line that runs to the TB, and the other is BHG. Well maybe one other way, somebody poured some down your TB.
Check compression. And lifters don't knock, they may peck a little. Really sounds like you have a rebuild project in the near future.:nono:
Let us know what you find and post back
What pressure tester gauge?? If you've tested with a another gauge and it test normal, it's proablly the gauge it's self, not the wiring because you are getting a reading, may not be right but it's a reading. That many miles on the motor, I don't know, you might be looking at a rebuild, there...
