I recently purchased a 88 Turbo supra as a parts car. I didn't even think of the differences between pre 89 and post 89. My question is how hard would it be to swap the 88 Turbo electronics into my 90 n/a? I have everything on the 88 and everything on the 90.

Is there any place I could buy patch panels for the rear wheel wells?? Or do I have to make them myself? Just wondering because I found rust in the rear quarters, and behind the little plastic cover in front of the rear wheels, not sure about behind the rear bumper, but yeah. I have my work...

I like the look of a white car with carbon doors and hood (and possibly even trunk lid), but only on a few cars. s2000 looks great, evo X, and a few others.

Hes just saying theres no oil in the head so the valves and cams wobble... The only thing is no other car ive ever driven has ever done that.

As long as both surfaces have been machined, (machined well that is) then a mhg should do fine. MHGs dont like conforming to not flat surfaces.

As far as i know, you cant just clean up the surfaces and throw on a mhg.

Yes and kinda no. He did torque down the head to 70 ft lbs, but he also was too lazy to change the valve cover gaskets, power steering rack, and when he replaced the hatch struts, he decided to just cut two holes in the interior panels to get to the bolts. It has an immaculate interior though...

First off, hi. Im new here. Im backlash. I have a 1990 supra. Now that thats done with, on to the question. How do you remove the rocker panel? It seems as if its one with the quarter panel... I dont see a seam anywhere. Mines awfully rusty and i want to replace it before it spreads... more.
