Honestly i would just daily drive it. You have all the expensive break downs out of the way.. and if something does get this car off the road you have the corolla you can borrow.
I know i wouldn't be able to sell mine..
Just keep the n/a and save up for a gte swap.. If its a hard top, deff. keep it. I wouldn't be able to stand the chassis flex.. thats why i have a hard top!!
Well, while welding in the patch, i burnt through a section.. and found out what i thought was surface rust was almost all the way through. So more cutting for me. Gonna cut the entire seam out of the passenger side wheel well and replace with cleaaaan metal.
I hate rust..
Personally I would go with the 3.91.
I HATE my 4.30s. I cannot stand highway driving at 3k rpm. No drone but it bugs me having my motor revving that high.
Around town its even annoying. everytime you get going you almost always get to 4th, and most of the time 5th too. Too much shifting, i...
Can someone edit my car to have a turbo A duct and a s2 airguide? Maybe even a color change to gunmetal grey?
All i really want is the duct and airguide.
Personally i would leave the sound deadening in it. I hate droney cars, and the only reason I would remove it is to save weight. Since its so easy to make power to displace that weight, the only reason to remove it is to improve handling.
and the supra already handles pretty good for its size...
Sport package N/A (TEMS, along with some other things) 4.30 LSD
Regular N/A 4.30 open
pre 89 turbo was a 3.91 LSD
post 89 turbo was 3.73 LSD
If you are going to put this on an N/A i would go with the pre 89 turbo differential. Drops rpm at highway speed to around 2500. Much better than the 3...
Well I would atleast check the dealership to see how much cash they would want for them.
You might be able to get the shoes from one of those sites you mentioned, then get the hardware from the dealership.
So are the bi xenons one or two bulbs?
I love the look of two hids on each side, but id hate to replace them all the time due to switching on and off. Perhaps have 4 bulbs on constantly, with a voltage difference between lows and brights?
The only thing stopping me from wiring in a remote start in my car is
A I would never use it, and
B Im too afraid of accidentally leaving the car in gear, then using the remote start..
:yikes: WOW! I just went through all 40 pages of this build. and all I have to say is wow!
Best build i have ever seen, by far. Deff subbed
Now I just want more! :P
I did a little work on it the past couple of days. I have the outer wheel well patch mostly welded in, but still needs a bit of work. I also have the inner patch mostly finished, just needs to be trimmed and I can weld it in.
After this I'm going to purchase some undercoating and torch that...
