Im also interested in this. My starter is going out (kind of sounds like a bad bearing in it)
Maybe cost of rebuilding and difficulty vs. buying a reman?
A person who "modifies" their car with "custom" body kits, large exhaust, chrome everywhere, spinner hubcaps, walmart/ebay parts, leds, etc.
or someone who doesnt have enough money to buy everything, so they just buy half and still put it on their car. Ive seen a orange honda civic with stock...
Yup, thats how ya do it. Both spin the same way = LSD opposite= open.
I think that theres a sticker that says "use LSD oil only" by the fill plug. I think.
Honestly, i was hoping to be done with rust repair by now, and saving up for paint. I havent even welded in new patch panels. Just about ready to make better patches though.
I head something about this.. Isnt it just condensation since the oil fill cap is generally the coolest part of the motor?
I could be very very wrong, so take that with a grain of salt. :P
Yeah, but it was closer to 600 dollars when i was done with gas and everything.
and the turbo has a lot of shaft play, and the motor has rod knock, but with my plans, (to drive the n/a 90 while i build the 88 turbo block to the nails) that wont be a problem.
And theres plenty of usuable parts...
Got a parts car in! got a rust free rocker panel for the price of a brand new one.. And parts for a turbo swap down the road.. >:D
Pictures!
It has turbo!! :)
And back in the garage.. somehow i got 3 cars where only 2 should be..
All of this for only 300 dollars
Personally, i would be fine putting an ebay exhaust manifold, intercoolers and piping, etc on my car. Intake mani is pushing it, and definately no BOVs or wastegates.
and IMO, i wouldnt go with an ebay muffler. too cheap and im not a fan of the can (heh, it rhymes. :P)
