The info that I am referring to is from corky bells flow diagram I do believe. As I said your long explanation may, or may not be acuurate, and I wont debate the validity of the content; since that is truely not my purpose of that statemen. I offer conclusively only my personal experience on...
Where would anyone find a new AEM for 1200.00. You don't need sensors if you use the stock MAS. I was looking for a cheaper solution to purchase an after market ECU. I found that a group of companies make that solution. When I began to look at options offered and cost effectiveness I found the...
All this may or maynot be relevant but for this post I don't see the need....I am not even trying to read any of it since it is theory.I stand by my post from pure good old fashion trial and error. I went to a 3" upper IC pipe with a smaller turbo than I currently have, and the car was more...
Every AFM that I have ever seen has had a film of oil inside of the unit. That is where the blow by statement comes from. How elses do ya think oil gets in there. The PCV system also is plumbed pre turbo, and post AFM. To clean the outside of the afm there is no need to disassemble the unit at...
I have heard of people doing all kinds of things to that AFM and later hear of it not working more than it was a good thing to do. There will always be some blow by so you will be cleaning it forever. At most I would only reccomend wiping any excess oil with a lent free cloth, being careful not...
The more you, and I discuss things the more I like you! How about a Sam Adams on me J.:biglaugh: :naughty:
Besides we are not talking 4" pipes, and only discussing 3" pipes so stay on the topic at hand; that theory is not worth wasting my breath on.

Doesn't matter if the turbo can keep the flow constant without dieing. This has been discussed up the waszu. The ct26 making 14 psi should feel more responsive with a larger diameter pipe untill it runs out of steam! This all falls under volumetric air flow. Again simplisticly put it's...
[QUOTE=jdub]I would like to hear this explanation ;)
Especially the effect pipe diameter has on air flow critical velocity and the effect on critical velocity through a smaller opening from a larger pipe. I believe Bernoulli had quite a bit to say on this subject ;)
Belive it or not there...
Not true you will get a little blow by regarless! Positive crank lets out any escaped compression after the compression stroke which is ventilated through those ports during boost, or regular diving under vacuum. If blocked the compression blow by would be trapped inside the crank case causeing...
I discovered this 4 years ago when I first did my 3" upper stock pipe. Everyone that says differently hasn't got a clue, and has never used a 3" pipe to even offer such information!
YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!
Not at all.....it's no where near too big. I get instant response with my set up. I got a 12x24x4 IC A GT4067r, and a 3 litre custom intake manifold. What Lagg is all I can say
