I used the N/A water neck by turning some of the unions. Works fine. The lower union is the same between N/A and turbo, but the upper is a little different. It hits the power steering res. a little, but not too badly.

If you're gonna be dragging the car, I'd suggest staying with the auto. It's nice for getting boost off the line and keeping it all the way through the 1/4.

Sorry, I didn't know anybody was still interested in this thread. But yes, its running, and running pretty well. Theres a coolant leak I need to figure out. I believe its coming from the coolant port on the pipe that wraps around the engine, which is a giant PITA to get to. So far i have been...
Sealed power are ndc bearings. But it was cheaper to get the ndcs in clevite boxes from driftmotion than ndcs in sealed power boxes from autozone. And from autozone they didn't come with thrust washers.

Get pretty much any diesel. They'll have no trouble managing 18-20 mpg. I'm partial to the cummins but that's just me. :p

Yeah I'll post up a side pic. I forgot to mention I'm on tiny stock N/A exhaust, although it isn't hooked up to the turbo downpipe yet... :P So no scraping problems for me. I wouldn't go any lower really.. Even if I had the option.
