yes, datalogging on a WB would be a bit redundant.
chances are fairly good that you will still be rich @ WOT on a 50 trim (nm of an upgrade...).
yes, an AFPR would be a good idea.
yes, the MAFT pro can add fuel in the same manner a SAFC does.
yup, there's a few things you're overlooking:
-speed/density conversion
-WOT A/F tracking/control
-laptop datalogging
-timing monitor (MAFT pro will be able to do this in the next few weeks...)
-possilbly timing control
you definately should take a look, the pro has a lot to offer....
the deal w/the pro is that you have a separate WB sensor + controller and you feed the 0-5V out of the controller to the pro to log/monitor A/F.
yes, the pro is compatible with 440s.
how much boost? as much as you...
sounds good man, i'll get in touch w/you via PM a bit later....
a world- the pro does everything the MAFT does plus:
-has a handheld interface
-has a laptop interface
-speed/density conversion (i.e. no more MAF or AFM)
-boost control
-data logging
-Vf monitor/logging
-closed loop...
the thing we really need is someone to install the MAFT pro and do some logging in pass through mode....then we could really make some strides for the 7M NA, 5M and 3S setups...
yessir, you are correct on all functions. don't forget the latest rev. of the SW includes a FCD too....and timing monitor may be in the near future.
heh. and i can't wait for you to hit me up.... ;)
why isn't it fair? yes, it's value priced. does it spool well? no. does it make good power? i guess...depends on your definition. the problem (as always) is there's no REAL information out there on it, people just say "oh it spools great". no dyno sheets, etc. to back up any such claims....just...
consider it a back burner project. the response re: the MKIII application has definately been less than expected so there's no reason for them to invest more time/$$ in something that won't give them any returns. now if there were some pre-orders that would be a different story....
i would...
1. it SHOULD be software only....we'll have to see how it goes. actual timing control is definately farther off than a timing monitor.
2. i don't, but ebay does! ;)
shipping to AU should be around $22US.
