the MAFT pro is up and running on my car, running speed density and has been for a few weeks.
i have the AEM EMS, but i threw in the stock ECU to help out w/the MAFT pro development....
i fully agree on the WB thing....then again, if you can't trust your WB, why do you have it? aren't you "leaning" on it when you make power/tuning runs?
heh.....always w/the long questions, eh dan? ;)
boost control (as well as any other function) can be adjusted from the keypad. take a look @ this page to get an idea how you can configure boost control: http://www.maftpro.com/info.shtml
again, see http://www.maftpro.com/info.shtml for a...
basic functions w/o any extra harnesses/parts: AFM scaling (same deal as SAFC), sensor monitor, datalogging, aux output.
yessir, you can buy anything that fullthrottlespeed sells from me. just drop me a line and we'll get it rolling.
the AFM signal clamp is meant as a more "advanced" tuning technique....eventually i'll write somehing up on it...
FCO will get moved based on tuning- lean it out (remove AFM signal) and FCO moves up. how far depends on your setup.
as with all AFM scaling devices, it's near impossible to...
boost solenoid is $70:

the next revision of the software will have an adjustable AFM signal out clamp to use as a FCD if you so desire.
yup, you can use other...
yeeps, see the other thread....trying to put more + more info there. i would say the MAFT pro is probably your best bet due to the high feature content.....drop me a line with specific questions on it and to order.
The definite answer is that someone would need to flowbench the flap AFM while powered and record the output vs. flow. Once we have those numbers we can add the flap AFM to MAFT pro.
I’ll assume you mean closed loop. ;) The three different throttle ranges and the A/F tracking certainly would...
ARGHRGHRHGHRHGHGHRGHRGH! i was just finishing typing up a single reply to everyone and my browser crashed! AAAAAGHRHRGHRGHRGHRGHRGHRGHRGH. anyway, fear not, i'll reply to everyone later today.....too ticked off @ the computer to do it now. ;)
it's done completely on the fly, no runs necessary. just punch in target A/F and have @ it....
no cruise mode, but we might be able to fit it in....you could easily just change the A/F target when you're cruising.
eh, i'm just posting to help support the MAFTpro and better explain it....
that is a dang good question, i'll look into it. off the top of my head i don't think it can handle flap-style AFMs, but i certainly could be wrong.
yeeeps. you tell it i want you to maintain XX and do it XX fast...
why?
does the MAP ECU control boost?
does the MAP ECU correct for temperature?
does the MAP ECU have a keypad to make quick changes with?
does the MAP ECU have wideband input and control of mixture?
the answer is no on all accounts....
